I put the kids to bed last night and flipped through the channels. Came across a show on HBO call Tell Me You Love Me. What an intense show!
I don’t know how long this show has been on, but in one episode I was able to immediately relate to many of the character’s situation. If you haven’t seen it, it’s a show about a handful of couples who are going through some pretty trying times in their relationships.
The thing that really grabbed me was the fact that I experienced pretty much all of the issues in my half a dozen years of marriage. You could say it hit too close to home, but that may be taking it a bit too far. The problem is, the couples on the show communicated. Unfortunately, in my marriage there was very little communication…ever.
That’s pretty much all I can think about as I try to get going this morning.
