It’s been too long…sorry. Is there anyone still out there or have all the readers, the few I had, grown old and withered away?
Just read this article from Newsweek that really rings true with me. I thought I’d share. As I’ve mentioned here before, the downfall of my marriage started soon after the birth of our first child. I certainly don’t blame my kids at all for my divorce, but it was a monumental change in our lives that no longer just made us husband and wife—just the two of us. Of course, there were other things that contributed but this was the start. I hate admitting that and I feel extremely guilty about it.
With that said, I had the best weekend with my kids. I have grown so much closer to them over the past year and a half. They are the best! And they are great kids—very kind, social, funny and considerate. All those characteristics were magnified in various ways this past weekend.
